I love being able to look up a word and hear it pronounced for me. I love learning languages but its hard sometimes to find audio materials for lesser-spoken languages. This app fills the gap that is needed for textbooks without audio materials. Thank you Forvo!
Have used the OS version for several years. So glad an iOS version is available. Excellent language reference.
Thanks for offering this app for free! A could of suggestions to make this app useful:
• Browse through lists of words.
• View words where pronunciations are requested.
• Be able to change our location manually—I didnt enable location services when I first the app, now I cant change my location.
This is the app and website Ive been always dreamt of. But why only words? I need phrases pronounced. I wish you let people "upload their sentences" and "upload voices that read the uploaded sentences".

Some bad moments
I´ve tried several words and could listen only two times - the app keeps crashing almost everytime I try to play a word.... It would be a good one if it worked properly ...
This is bad app. No Internet connection but wifi is on. Do Not buy this!!!
The coercion to create an account to use the app is a big no-go!
I will delete the app!
Im really hoping this is just a version glitch, but there is no sound in this app, thus no pronunciations.
I also found that the app no longer can pronounce searched word. I wonder why? Ive v1.4 installed.
Love the idea but its very limited right now. The website version offers many features, but doesnt work on iphone. Whereas the iphone app only allows you to search for pronunciations, the website allows you to add words youd like to hear pronounced by a native speaker, and offer pronunciations yourself. Please also add a feature to search for tags and to save words to a list for quicker reference.
